THIS WEEK AT TI

I’ll be sharing a brief update here each week with notes from around the synagogue.

This week, our Tifereth Israel family comes together with heavy hearts as we mourn the loss of our Executive Director Kate’s beloved husband, Dan Schwartz. In moments like these, words often fall short, but the strength of community does not. We hold Kate and her family in our thoughts and prayers, surrounding them with love, comfort, and support during this difficult time. May Dan's memory be forever a blessing.

Our community continues to be a source of light and connection. This week, we are honored to celebrate a truly special milestone; Esther Eisner’s 90th birthday. Esther has been a cherished part of our congregation, and her warmth, wisdom, and presence have touched so many. We wish her continued health, happiness, and many more years filled with joy. Please join us this weekend at Shabbat Services followed by a delicious Kiddush, as we celebrate Esther.

In sorrow and in celebration, we remain together, supporting one another, lifting each other up, and finding meaning in the bonds we share. One of the many things I love about being a part of the family here at TI is our ability to support each other through times of need. Thank you all for being a part of the family that has raised me over the years, we are all so incredibly lucky to have each other.

Shabbat Shalom.
